Features Ka-Bar's famous oval shaped leather handles. The blade is made of high-carbon 1095 tool steel coated with a black epoxy powder, with carbon steel guard and powder metal butt caps. Knife comes with a KA-BAR sheath constructed of a tough hard shell plastic which is resistant to salt water and provides a hard surface which protects during rough use. Sheath has multiple tie-down ports allowing several mounting positions including up side down.

Kabar always lives up to their name. If you've had a Kabar knife in a similar style to this then you know what to expect. The 1095 Cro-van steel it's made of is top notch and holds its edge very well. This particular Kabar has a very grippy handle too. I doubt it would slip out of anyone's hands easily whether it were wet or not. Highly recommended to anyone that needs a fixed blade knife for most any need.

After some research on the net I decided on this Ka-Bar USA knife, it is the same as the USMC Ka-Bar but with the USA tang stamp and it was highly rated on every site I looked.
I decided to buy it and am very happy with it.its a beautiful knife, very sharp, the weight is perfect, its not too big or too small, its very compact and the materials are awesome. I got it with the Kydex Sheath and I love it!
