KA-BAR Becker Remora Neck Knife (2.25 Inch 1095HC Black Plain Blade) Hard Plastic Sheath BK13CP BKR13

I like how compact this knife is for use as a neck knife or EDC pocket knife. The BK-13 Remora is extremely lightweight and compact. I love the blade profile. I was not entirely impressed with the edge on the blade although it was sharp. The finish was good but not great. Olean, NY USA is printed on the side of the blade! The hollow grind will be useful when I put a nicer edge on the blade. The skeletonized grip is reasonably comfortable however I desire more purchase on the grip which is unfortunately very small and too smooth. I wish there was jimping on the top of the grip and spine of the blade. I am extremely impressed with the sheath. The knife retention in the sheath is remarkable. The sheath is smooth and very compact for perfect neck carry. I almost forget I am wearing this knife around my neck it is so comfortable. This is a fantastic option for a EDC or neck knife especially due to the compact lightweight sheath. Overall I would say this is a relatively high quality last ditch fixed blade knife.
