The frame and locking liner are built from 6AL4V titanium making this big knife extremely tough, less-magetic, corrosion resistant and lightweight. Blade material is CPM-S3OV high-carbon stainless steel. The handle is textured glass-filled Nylon. The blade has a locking-liner for safety. The ambidextrous thumbstud provides one handed opening and closing of the blade. All fasteners are stainless steel and the open support-column style back spacers allow easy cleaning after field use.
