The Ontario Ranger RD9 Ready Detachment Combat Knife features a 9.5 inch flat ground clip point bowie blade made of super tough 5160 high carbon steel, .25 in. thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 56-58. The full-tang blade has a non-reflective textured black powder coated finish. The integral handle, 5.75 in. long, has a forward finger choil, an integral lower guard, ergonomic dark gray Micarta scales and has a lanyard hole at the butt end. A black custom fitted MOLLE compatible tactical nylon sheath with edge protecting hard plastic insert and roomy utility pouch (perfect for keeping a multi-tool) is included.
