Unlike other "waterproof" or "windproof" matches, the UCO Stormproof Matches are easy to light, and will stay lit for up to 15 seconds, even after being submerged in water! Being able to reliably make a fire is vital for cooking, generating warmth, and in survival situations, making signal fires. The UCO Stormproof Matches are perfect for camping, emergency kits, and should be part of every 10 Essentials check list. Each single box contains 25 matches and spare strikers.

Got these for my bug out kit. These are highly rated and do not go out whatever you do to them. The case is excellent and rugged. OGK Shipped quickly. I HIGHLY recommend.

These matches are amazing. They work in wet, humid, and windy conditions where conventional matches fail. Recently while using them to light our stove at the beach, I tried extinguishing the flame on a match by burying it into the sand. After holding it under the sand for a few seconds, I was stunned when I removed it and saw it burst into flame again. These have served me well in making fires and lighting stoves in wet, humid, and windy conditions. I have never had to use them for emergency situations, but I feel confident that I can rely on them if needed.
